This is the web version of the Schedule. At the event, we will give the following printed material to every participant:
- Booklet in A5 format, which contains both the schedule and detailed route description. You can read the content here (only in Estonian).

Schedule for main group:
Thursday, 30th of July 2015
20:00 – 20:30 You may bring your bags to the luggage van in front of the TUT main building.
Friday, 31st of July 2015
7:00 – 7:25 Gathering at the parking lot in front of the TUT main building. Loading the bags on the luggage van (for anyone who didn’t do it the night before) and bikes on the truck.
7:25 – 7:30 Getting on the bus.
7:30 – 11:15 Bus ride from the TUT main building to Saesaare parking lot at Taevaskoja, Põlva county. One 20-25 minute break for toilet and stretching is planned on the way.
11:15 – 11:55 Unloading the bikes from the truck, the luggage van collects more bags. Preparations for the bike trip, possible to swim in Saesaare lake.
11:55 – 13:10 Bike ride Taevaskoja – Mooste (13,4 km, from which 3,1 km is gravel road, 2,3 km forest trail and 8 km asphalt road). The schedule allows short selfie-stops at Taevakoja, Otteni mill or at other beautiful places near Ahja river.
13:10 – 13:55 Lunch at Mooste (casserole with cabbage and minced meat, potatoes, salad, home-made rye bread, seasoned butter, seasoned water; included in the participation fee).
13:55 – 14:25 Sightseeing in Mooste guided by mayor Ülo Needo (1 km asphalt road). Possible to swim in Mooste lake.
14:25 – 15:15 Bike ride Mooste – Leevaku (14 km asphalt road).
15:15 – 15:25 Break at Leevaku hydroelectric power plant. First ones to arrive might have time to visit Leevaku store if desired.
15:25 – 16:00 Bike ride Leevaku – Räpina (8,8 km asphalt road).
16:00 – 17:00 Excursion in Räpina Paper Mill (included in the participation fee). Please note that although the address of the Paper Mill is Pargi 23, the entrance is from the side of Võhandu street (a bit further from Pargi street).
17:00 – 17:45 Bike ride Räpina – Lüübnitsa (10,6 km asphalt road).
17:45 – 18:15 Break at Lüübnitsa observation tower. Sootska Sulo Nurmeots (member of the Local Council of Mikitamäe) tells about the local life. Possible to swim.
18:15 – 18:50 Bike ride Lüübinitsa – Laossina crossroad (9,7 km asphalt road).
18:50 – 19:10 In case you are too tired or if it gets late, you may take the asphalt road directly to Mikitamäe store (3,6 km asphalt road).
18:50 – 19:00 Bike ride Laossina crossroad – Laossina (1,3 km, from which 0,4 km is forest road and 0,9 km gravel road). Laossina is an idyllic Seto village. Worth of checking out, if you are not too tired.
19:00 – 19:10 Break at Laossina village, possible to swim.
19:10 – 19:30 Bike ride Laossina – Mikitamäe (4,1 km, from which 1,3 km is forest road, 2,7 km gravel road and 0,1 km asphalt road).
19:30 – 20:00 Possible to visit the store at Mikitamäe. On that day Mikitamäe store “A ja O” is opened until 21:00 for our arrival.
20:00 – 20:30 Bike ride Mikitamäe – Rõsna (5,2 km, from which 1,3 km is asphalt road and 3,9 km gravel road).
20:30 – 21:00 Setting up the campsite at the recreation area of Rõsna harbor, straight on the shore of Lämmijärv lake. Possible to swim. We also set up a small tent sauna on the lake shore.
20:00 – 23:00 BBQ and dinner (grilled pork, chicken, sausages, bread, tomatoes, cucumber, sauces; included in the participation fee).
23:00 – … Campfire night with live music.
During our whole time in Rõsna, there are 2 showers for us with the principle “in case of waiting line you have to wait” and “if the hot water is out you have to use the cold water”.
Friday’s bike ride is 69 km in total, from which 54 km is asphalt road, 11 km gravel road and 4 km forest road. Friday’s route on Google maps.
Saturday, 1st of August 2015
8:00 – 10:00 Wake-up, breakfast (porridge with jam, sandwich components, coffee, tea, juice; included in the participation fee), packing the campsite.
9:30 Recommended start for the Adventure-Sportsmen.
10:00 – 10:45 Start of the main group, bike ride Rõsna-Tonja-Värska (11,5 km, from which 6,9 km is gravel road, 1,5 km forest road and 3,1 km asphalt road).
10:15 – 11:15 An extra lap for the Adventure-Sportsmen on the Pikalombi Nature Trail on the border of European Union. This group can visit the observation tower at the Kurõsuu bog and after that, cross the bog itself on a 1 km long boardwalk, which in spots is 0,5 meters under the water :) The ones who avoided falling into the bog, can swim in the Saarõpää lake after crossing the bog. The extra lap is 11,5 km long in total and starts and ends in Värska. The route on Google maps.
10:50 – 11:30 Activities in Värska on your own. Possibility to swim (e.g a swimming site near the entry to Värska, next to the Hirvemäe Recreation Center at the end of Silla street), go to the store, or visit Seto Farm Museum at address Pikk 56, Värska on the road exiting Värska towards Saatse (ticket 2€). We continue the trip together at 11:30 from Seto Farm Museum!
11:30 – 13:00 Bike ride Värska – Kolossova (13,5 km, from which 1,4 km is asphalt road, 10,4 km forest roads of Laskevälja bike trail and 1,7 km gravel road).
13:00 – 13:40 A visit of Vana Jüri Soap Farm, possible to buy local products (cash needed).
13:40 – 14:20 Bike ride Kolossova – Saatse (7,6 km, from which 6,2 km is gravel road and 1,4 km asphalt road).
14:20 – 15:40 Lunch at the courtyard of Saatse museum (potatoes, meat sauce “goulash”, fresh salad, bread, lemonade; included in the participation fee). Concurrently possible to visit the museum (included in the participation fee). We are accompanied by a guide.
15:40 – 16:40 Bike ride Saatse – Lõunalaager (13,1 km, from which 1,1 km is asphalt road, 9,4 km gravel road and 2,6 km forest trail). The forest trail leads us near the Russian border, therefore it is forbidden to go to forest on the left side of the trail!
16:40 – 17:10 Break at the Petseri Lõunalaager. Guide Meeli Palujõe will come and tell us about the history of that place.
17:10 – 17:45 Unfortunately our schedule has not time to visit the 2 km long hiking trail of Lõunalaager, but who wishes, can do this on their own. It should be noted that in such case the arrival to the campsite will probably be later than specified by the schedule or the participant should make a shortcut later on their own.
17:10 – 17:55 Bike ride Lõunalaager – Piusa (11,4 km, from which 5,8 km is gravel road, 0,8 km forest road and 4,8 km asphalt road).
17:55 – 18:40 People who wish and have time, can go to Piusa visitor centre, buy a ticket (sold until 18:30, the center is open until 19:00) and do the sightseeing offered there. We believe many of the participants have already visited this place or are able to find it on their own, also the ticket price is pretty touristic (5€ per person). Therefore the route of the main group does not cover this place and instead we will visit the grandiose causeway and tunnels which is not part of our everyday routes. Who decides to visit the Piusa visitor center and does not want to arrive to the campsite too late, should ride directly from Piusa to Orava later.
17:55 – 18:20 Bike ride Piusa – Tuderna (3,6 km, from which 2,2 km is gravel road, 1,3 km forest trail and 0,1 km we will tread our path into the grass ourselves.
18:20 – 18:35 Break at the grandiose tunnels through the old causeway.
18:35 – 19:00 Bike ride Tuderna – Orava (6,6 km, from which 0,7 km is forest road, 4,8 km gravel road and 1,1 km asphalt road).
19:00 – 19:45 Possible to go to the store, possible to swim (next to Orava laululava, 0,5 km from the store). On that day Orava store “A ja O” is opened until 21:00 for our arrival.
19:45 – 20:15 Bike ride Orava – Kõvera (7 km, from which 3,5 km is asphalt road and 3,5 km gravel road).
20:15 – 21:00 Setting up the campsite on the territory of Päikseranna holiday house on the shore of Kõverjärve lake.
19:30 – 22:00 Dinner (rich Russian meat soup “seljanka” with sour cream, bread; included in the participation fee).
21:00 – … For our use: two saunas (one of them is a raft sauna), hot tub and three showers. On the screen – photos and videos of previous bike trips.

23:00 – 0:00 Let us announce! The very first time in the history of TUT Bike Trip – a live band from Australia! The Natural Culture is a 7-member group of musicians who play funk, reggae and world music. They arrive to Estonia during their European tour and will perform at the main stage of Augustibluus a day before our bike trip.
0:00 – … Dance evening.

Sunday, 2nd of August 2015
9:00 – 11:00 Wake-up, breakfast (porridge with jam, sandwich components, coffee, tea, juice; included in the participation fee), packing the campsite.
11:00 – 11:55 Bike ride Kõvera – Ilumetsa (13,5 km, from which 4,6 km is gravel road and 8,9 km asphalt road).
11:55 – 12:15 Sightseeing at Ilumetsa craters.
12:15 – 12:40 Bike ride Ilumetsa – Valgjärve, possible to take an additional break at Rebasmäe Forest Hut and the spring (5,5 km of gravel road).
12:40 – 13:25 Support van offers snacks at the RMK Valgjärve campfire site, possible to swim.
13:25 – 13:45 Bike ride Valgjärve – Liipsaare (4,3 km of gravel road).
13:45 – 14:00 Break at the Liipsaare Forest Hut and observation tower.
14:00 – 14:40 Bike ride Liipsaare – Leevi (8,4 km, from which 6,6 km is gravel road and 1,8 km asphalt road).
14:40 – 15:10 Possible to go to the store at Leevi. On that day the store is open until 16:00 for our arrival.
15:10 – 15:40 Bike ride Leevi – Süvahavva (6,2 km, from which 0,4 km is asphalt road and 5,8 km gravel road).
15:40 – 16:25 Visit to the Süvahavva Nature Farm, where on that day takes place a handicraft day. The host will introduce their farm works; possible to buy different herbal teas and knittings made of dog wool (cash needed).
16:25 – 17:20 Bike ride Süvahavva – Põlva (13,7 km, from which 3,7 km is gravel road and 10 km asphalt road).
17:20 – 18:15 Activities in Põlva on your own (1 km asphalt road). The fast ones might have time to eat somewhere, possible to go swimming in Põlva lake, possible to go to the store.
18:15 – 18:40 Loading the bikes on the truck at the parking lot between the Põlva cemetery and Orajõe (the address is Pärna 1, Põlva city).
18:40 – 18:45 Getting on the bus.
18:45 – 22:30 Bus ride Põlva – TUT. One 20-25 minutes break for toilet and stretching is planned on the way.
22:30 – 23:00 Unloading the bicycles from the truck and bags from the luggage van.
Sunday’s bike ride is 53 km in total, from which 22 km is asphalt road and 31 km gravel road. Sunday’s route on Google maps.

7:30 – 21:00 Strong group bike ride TUT – Põlva county (228 km, from which 220 km is asphalt road and 8 km gravel road).
21:00 – … Strong group stays in camp at Lokko farm near Ahja (included in the strong group fee). Grilling, dinner and sauna (included in the strong group fee).
